NEOPRENE FLEXIBLE DUCT CONNECTOR

  • The Industry Standard for HVAC Systems
  • For High Pressure and High Velocity Systems
  • Strong – Airtight – Waterproof – Mildew Resistant
  • Resists many acids, alkalis, grease, oil and gasoline
  • For systems exposed to toxic fumes and polluted atmosphere

In general use for more than twenty years, NEOPRENE has become the standard for the air handling industry. It is the most frequently specified and most widely used flexible connector material. NEOPRENE offers air tight and waterproof performance, has outstanding burst strength and excellent flex life and aging characteristics. NEOPRENE resists many acids, alkalis, grease, oil and gasoline, and a broad range of other chemicals.

NEOPRENE has a base fabric of woven Fiberglass which is double-coated with polychloroprene. It is supplied in coils of 30m (100 ft) of fabric joined on both sides to galvanized steel, or as a fabric only for special applications.

RECOMMENDED USES
NEOPRENE
is especially suited for use in high-pressure and high-velocity duct systems, and where exposed to toxic fumes or adverse atmospheric conditions. It is a dependable, tough product which may be used with confidence in general ventilation applications. NEOPRENE should not be used where temperature will exceed 90ºC.
